the best part of being a new Englander is being able to unironically look like the j crew catalog...it's 30/40 in the morning, 60 in the afternoon, 50 in the evening....and the foliage!! I live for this!

It's the same in TX... As soon as it drops below 90F, people here be like "it's cold!", dressed up in coats and jackets... I'm like, nooooo darlin... My AC only just cycled off for 2h to get it's first break of the season!! I'm just barely able to wear shorts without drenching them in a puddle of sweat! When it goes below 80F, they look just like you described: a ball of parka and thick linens screaming about how freezing it is! Meanwhile it's just barely cool enough to enjoy the fresh breeze outside and open the windows! Ya'll last week, when we were suffering August 89th and it was 110F out, ya'll were complaining about how hot it was!! 🔥🥵 Now that the oven turned off, suddenly there's no break between furnace and icebox? 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
