@fantabulosity: Slow Cooker Apple Butter 🍎🍂 If you've never made homemade apple butter, you're missing out on one of the BEST old-fashioned fall recipes! Fresh apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves cook low and slow until they're thick, sweet, and full of flavor. And your house will smell AMAZING while it's cooking. 😍 Spread it on warm biscuits, toast, English muffins, pancakes, or even use it in your favorite fall baking recipes. 🍎 Want the full recipe with extra tips, different cooking times, texture options, and a printable recipe card? Visit my website through the link in my bio! **INGREDIENTS:** ▢ 5 pounds apples (weighed before peeling and coring) ▢ ½ cup granulated sugar ▢ 1 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed ▢ 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon ▢ ⅛ teaspoon salt ▢ ½ teaspoon nutmeg ▢ ¼ teaspoon ground cloves **INSTRUCTIONS:** 1. Peel, core, and dice the apples into small pieces. Add them to your slow cooker. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and cloves. 3. Pour the sugar and spice mixture over the apples and stir until evenly coated. 4. Cover and cook on LOW for 10–12 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, depending on your preferred texture and flavor. 5. Once the apples are tender, leave the mixture chunky or use an immersion blender to make it smooth and creamy. 6. For thicker apple butter, remove the lid and continue cooking for another 30–60 minutes to allow some of the liquid to evaporate. 7. Let cool slightly and enjoy warm, or refrigerate until chilled! **TIP:** You can use just about any apple variety! I love mixing sweet and tart apples for the best flavor. 🍎 This also makes such a thoughtful homemade gift for neighbors, friends, and family during the holidays! #slowcookerapplebutter #applebutter #crockpotrecipes #fallrecipes #oldfashionedrecipes slow cooker apple butter, homemade apple butter recipe, crockpot apple butter, old fashioned apple butter, easy apple recipes, fall crockpot recipes, homemade apple spread, cinnamon apple butter, apple butter with fresh apples
