I feel like BCs consumer carbon tax was bringing in a fair bit of revenue. Then when the Federal libs cut the carbon tax, the BC NDP cut the BC tax as well. That must have put a big hole in their plans. I seem to remember a big number in revenue shortfall related to that ($3 Billion?)

The BC Liberals, who are now kinda like the BC Conservatives today, laundered money out of ICBC, let people launder money with real estate and casinos, had been charging us all MSP while not really funding healthcare, cr&pped all over the BC Teachers class size agreements...just to name a few. . I am tired of people saying "the economy" has been in trouble. Why do we insist on measuring the economy (a metric for people who invest) rather than measure housed and happy?
