Yeah, F all the UV sunburns you will get on your face. Hell even with a hood you can catch reflections or flash from other welders around you. I have seen fellow welders and personally experienced getting sunburn/flashburn in less than ten minutes of exposure. What’s even better is when you lift your hood and see a that a newbie white hat has been watching you without a hood, enjoy opening your eyes tomorrow fool.
