so tired of people telling me "get ready for this" whenever their kid does something to annoy them. sil said it to me the other night bc she let her son bring a toy to a restaurant without a bag to put it in. he didnt want to carry it around and she got annoyed.....tell him not to bring it inside or bring a bookbag.....why would I need to get ready for your poor decisions? 🤣

people literally tell me this all the time but like for me I already take care of a disabled person 24 hours of the day so it's almost the same thing as raising a child because I also have to change the disabled person feed them. make sure they don't die. so I hate this comment so much cuz it's the point it's going to change your life. yes, it's not going to be the same. is it going to be hard because I take care of someone who's disabled and a child? yes, but millions of people take care of their disabled children and non-disabled children

I was talking about wanting to teach headstart and someone said what if you have to change diapers ??? I was like you do realize in a few months I'll be changing thousands and thousands of diapers 😭
