I love seeing this! Maybe the state fair will learn to not be so greedy when it comes to prices 🤷♂️

We went to Shnepfs farm fall festival and paid $28 each and it included unlimited rides and entertainment. Food also better and cheaper than the fairs and bonus it’s not in Phoenix

They made the mistake of telling us the vendors are outta state. I don’t want pay $23 for a California corn dog or $25 for a Florida funnel cake.

I heard they’re going to shut down next year if this keeps up. So they would rather not operate at all if it means they can’t rip us tf off? Good riddance then

Don’t they realize if they lower the prices there would be 10x more people and they’d actually make more money?

The fair is losing more money than they are probably gaining this year. I heard someone say it might be the last year because they arnt generating enough money to return 🥲 thats what happens when companies get greedy..

I want to go so bad but it’s so expensive now. I remember I went as a teen and you could have so much fun there with just $100 I know times have changed but the rides and food are still the same quality 😒

Nobody has money for that. Rent, groceries, utilities, gas. The fair is not a priority right now.

This is great tbh. The only way these people learn is to hit them where it hurts- in their wallet. I do feel bad for the vendors they got scalded with promises of “ huge crowds” then people found out about all the scam prices just to park, get in etc and hard passed.

The fair already made their money off the rent they charged the vendors. They're set. The vendors I guess, thought they could make up for the high rent by raising prices. Fair probably convinced them we'd pay these prices due to how high cost of living is here now. So next year is when we'll see the big hit from this. Vendor won't pay that again for this result. 💯
