@degreelume: Your schedule is full… but can you explain how each class fits your goal? 👀📚 Between registration, assignments, and work, it’s easy to keep adding classes without revisiting the bigger picture. Then “I should be done next spring” becomes “Wait, what am I missing?” 😭 This slideshow covers five reasons to take another look at your plan before your next semester. 🔗 Prerequisites: Does a class you want to take require something you haven’t completed yet? 📚 Requirements: Beyond your unit total, which specific requirements still need attention? 📅 Availability: Have you checked when your college actually offers the courses you’re planning? 🎯 Purpose: Do you understand how each class fits your major preparation, general education, electives, or another goal? 📝 Unanswered questions: Is there anything you’re assuming will work out that you could bring to your counselor now? If you’re a California community college student, keep your local graduation goal and your transfer goal clear in that conversation. Progress toward one doesn’t automatically mean you’ve met the requirements for the other. And if you spot something uncertain, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed at planning. It gives you a specific question to work through before registration. DegreeLume helps you organize completed, in-progress, and planned coursework and review remaining requirements for supported paths. Use it to get your information together and prepare for a more focused conversation with your counselor. 💜 You can start with one question: “What do I need to confirm before choosing my next classes?” Try DegreeLume free at DegreeLume.com ✨ Supported paths only. Confirm prerequisites, course availability, and official graduation and transfer requirements with your college and counselor. Save this for your next planning appointment, and send it to your CCC friend who’s figuring out their next semester too. 🎓 #CaliforniaCommunityCollege #CCCStudents #CCTransfer #UCTransfer #elcaminocollege
