@benhaley_wx: Hurricane Isaias has made landfall in Destin, FL as a category 2-3 hurricane with winds up to 115 mph. The storm surge situation is still unfolding but generally things should be somewhat calming down for the coast over the next few hours, especially since dry air has eroded the back side of the eyewall. Significant impacts are still likely inland overnight into tomorrow, mainly in the form of rainfall and wind, but also possibly tornadoes as well. Stay tuned for tomorrow's update.
