I hate how excessively America hands out life sentences, there’s so few people who really deserve that sentence. I’ve known or known of many lifers who have done so much work on themselves and deserve a second chance.

Are women’s prisons significantly nicer than men’s? Because between the cosmetology school, the CA holding you while you cry, and meeting a girlfriend you love, sounds much better than I would have expected.

Girlllll, I fell HARD for this girl I was doin 2 years the girl I fell for is doin 20-40. It was so hard leaving her there as I walked out them gates. We don’t talk anymore bc she got a new gf which I’m not mad at her for at all but I still think ab her every day

I think if she was a lifer she would have already prepared herself for you leaving and if she loves you which she obviously does she would be happy for you and comfort you course she was sad but she wants you to be free and happy 💕💕

the man I have loved since I was a teen is a lifer. I haven't been able to see him in a long time. the pain of that separation is hellish. the pain of never knowing if you will ever see the person you love again is unreal.

As someone who is in prison and met somebody, I was with for about 5 to 6 years when I left prison and left them there that shit was so hard but the difference was I knew she was coming home. I can’t even imagine what you felt.
