Then you can’t like the idea of an established universe then. We can’t want a Bat Family when it’s probably gonna take multiple projects to go from Dick to Damien. Certain sacrifices will be made. It you’re gonna do John as the main Lantern in you’re series, either Hal is old or he’s fully on the back burner

Im kinda annoyed that james is skipping past all the robins just because damian is his favoruite and it ruins the chances of us seeing dick or jason as robin, but at least we'll get peak scenes with nightwing and superman

Yes completely agree, this is what I’ve been saying, like they’re skipping whole lotta generations and story arcs, like they don’t have hopes on lasting long (which might be true with the paramount merger) but for example green lanterns wether it was a series or movies they could’ve done one focusing on each of the 8 lanterns that’s 8 movies or 8 seasons, instead Hal is dead, Guy and Jon are already out there, by season 2 we’d jump to Jessica. Same thing with robins, jumping to Dick already being Nightwing and Damian already Robin implies Jason already died, Tim is with Young Justice, Barb is already in a wheelchair

Just start with Jason first movie. At end of first movie Jason dies. Second movie Tim is Robin and third movie Tim is still Robin and Jason comes back as redhood. Then fourth movie have Damian

I think your Severely undermining how many movies it would take to build up to Grayson to Nightwing. This isn’t the comics, doing a proper bat-family builds up in live action isn’t ideal.

dick grayson as robin in batb to being nightwing by end of teen titans is just objectively not only the best thing to do for general audiences but also MONEY WISE. this storyline unfolding will GET PEOPLE IN SEATS. a trilogy of Batman movies having robin nightwing and red hood play out in real time before we get a bat family will make SO MUCH MONEY. where are the toy sellers in this conversation

The DCU wouldn't be able to develop the Robins the way the comics did—since the comics had decades to do it—but they could make a Nightwing movie and explore his origin story, just like the Supergirl movie.
