this is awful. and the "they didn't know a 5 year old was in the car" was a bs excuse, like that would have changed anything. like another commenter said about the positioning infront of the headlight I completely agree with you because of the "foot in the door" tactic officers use where they place their foot in between the door and if you try to close the door it's and immediate grounds for assaulting an officer. however as someone who has been arrested by undercover officers (I had a warrant I didn't know I had for 4 months after trying to commit suicide) you don't know theyre undercover. and honestly with my daughter in the back seat, and dudes come up to me with guns ESPECIALLY in the city, yeah i'm booking it to. fleeing is no excuse for death. ice is very close to the modern gestapo. when will this end.
