@news.trending7: Haley Cavinder Says She Could Have Gone Pro In The WNBA But Chose To End Her Career With Twin Sister Hanna Haley Cavinder says playing in the WNBA was always her dream. She chose a different ending. Haley and her twin sister, Hanna, both 25, spoke on PEOPLE’s WAG World series, released Friday, October 9. They played at the University of Miami and retired from basketball in 2025 after one final season. “It was always the dream,” Haley said. She said she declared for the draft and had scouts coming to practices her last year. She said she was on a timeline and had to declare to enter. She was also doing long distance with her now-husband, Jake Ferguson, and “didn’t know what it would look like.” She added, “Hanna didn’t want to play.” Hanna said her sister had the talent. “Haley could have easily gone to the WNBA,” she said. In her final season, Haley averaged 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. She earned Second-team All-ACC honors. Haley says she still wonders what might have been. “Oh my gosh, I miss the game. Could I go back? Would I?” she said. “There are always ‘what ifs.’” But she said she wanted to end her career with Hanna at Miami. The twins have built a business beyond basketball. Their TikTok account has 4.5 million followers. They also launched a wellness brand, Go-Two, in August. “We were always better together,” Hanna said.
