♡Brittany♡ :

the movie The Monument Men was pretty decent to show how this was happening and that men were sent in to get back all the art and items that were stolen. mainly the big art pieces but they absolutely came across gold teeth, silver, and anything of real value they took from prisoners they hid underground or gave to mistresses.

Lizzie Shu :

Salt and limestone mines are great for storage as they are extremely stable and fairly water & temperature controlled! Wild that they were used for this though!!
