@a_trigeros2: Williams Tavoris was killed early Thursday morning, October 8, 2026, after a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) SUV crashed into their vehicle.  The accident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m.  at the intersection of South Atlantic Boulevard and Sheila Street in the City of Commerce.  An LASD deputy was rushing to respond to a medical emergency regarding an unconscious person who was not breathing in nearby Cudahy.  The sheriff's department confirmed that the deputy's patrol vehicle had its emergency lights and sirens activated at the time.   As the deputy’s SUV traveled through the intersection in Commerce, it struck a civilian vehicle.  The force of the initial collision pushed the victim's car into a third civilian vehicle, triggering a chain-reaction pileup.   The adult driver of the first car struck by the deputy was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.  The deputy involved survived with minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.  The driver of the third vehicle involved was not injured.  The intersection remained closed for several hours for a full investigation into the crash mechanics.  #cityofcommerce #cudahy #LosAngeles #llw🙏🏽 #
