The budget each department nor each agency or town should be simplely summarize and make it publicly available so people can clearly understand where their tax money is going? People, this is YOUR money. The public deserves to know how it is being spent, what projects and services are being funded, how much is allocated to each, and what the expected outcomes are. It should be presented clearly, like a proper plan showing where the money comes from, where it goes, and what the public can expect in return. Transparency and accountability matter. Taxpayers shouldn't have to struggle to understand complicated budget documents just to find out how their own money is being spent. The people funding these budgets deserve clear answers and regular updates on how that money is used.
