@anissaleann404: I'm crying. 😭 If you haven't heard this story, it's a tragic one. 23 year old Nathaly Ramirez was tragically killed on Tuesday when she and her 8 month old daughter were thrown off a 15th floor balcony by her ex boyfriend, Angel Carrasco. THE MURDER OF NATHALY RAMIREZ At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, police responded to a call to a residential building at 2550 Olinville Avenue in the Allerton section of the Bronx after Nathaly and her infant daughter fell from a 15th-floor apartment balcony. Neighbors reported hearing screaming coming from the apartment before the fall. One witness recalled hearing Nathaly pleading: “PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!” Then she and her baby went over the balcony. At approximately 3:38 a.m. police responded to the scene where Natalie and her baby were found with severe injuries. Nathaly was transported by EMS to Jacoby hospital and pronounced dead in the emergency room. Her 8 month old daughter was also transported to Jacobi hospital by police in their patrol vehicle while she was in critical condition. Surveillance footage reportedly showed Nathaly's ex boyfriend, Angel Carrasco, leaving the building. Police sought him for questioning as the investigation developed into a homicide case. Authorities have indicated there was a documented history of domestic violence connected to the residence involving Carrasco. On Wednesday, October 7th, The NYPD released Carrasco's photograph and identified him as a 31-year-old wanted suspect. Authorities described him as armed and dangerous and asked for help locating him. The U.S. Marshals Service and the New York–New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force participated in the manhunt. Late Wednesday night, Investigators received information from a close friend or acquaintance who told police where Carrasco was hiding. Officers located him at a residence and took him into custody at approximately 10:30 p.m. On Thursday, October 8, once the baby's condition improved enough for the transfer, she was transported by helicopter to Cohen Children's Medical Center in Glen Oaks, Queens for specialized treatment. That same day, the NYPD told PEOPLE that she remained in critical, but stable, condition. Carrasco was seen being escorted Thursday from the NYPD's 49th Precinct in handcuffs and leg restraints. News footage showed him appearing to smile and laugh as people shouted at him. Ive seen the footage and he makes me sick. WHAT CHARGES IS HE FACING? According to the NYPD and news reports, Carrasco faces five charges: 1. Murder — for Nathaly's death. 2. Attempted murder — relating to the alleged attack on the baby. 3. Manslaughter 4. Attempted manslaughter 5. Assault I pray justice is served!! I pray for Nathaly's family during this tragic time. More importantly, I pray that Nathaly's precious 8 month old baby girl recovers as quickly and as fully as possible. There is reason for hope. A report from amNewYork said while police sources described her condition as stabilized, they also indicated she could be on the verge of a remarkable recovery. However, I haven't found a confirmed medical statement saying she will make a full recovery or identifying any lasting injuries. I wish we had more definite answers about that sweet little girl.
