3,000km through the desert… and that’s just the beginning. 🚶‍♂️🌍 In 12 days, I’ll be back on the road continuing my walk from the UK to Vietnam. After taking a break because of the extreme summer heat, it’s nearly time to start again. Next up: 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan 🇦🇫 Afghanistan 🇵🇰 Pakistan This next section is roughly 3,000km and will take me through deserts, mountains, remote roads, hot days and some seriously cold nights. In Uzbekistan, the temperatures should be much more manageable now, with warm days and cooler nights. Afghanistan will likely be colder, especially in higher areas, and some nights could get close to freezing. Then Pakistan should start warming up again, with some places still reaching over 30°C in the daytime. So this next stage is going to be a real mix of conditions. Heat, cold, altitude, isolation, and a LOT of walking. I’m excited, nervous, and more than ready to get moving again. 2 years into this journey… and I’m still only around halfway. UK 🇬🇧 → Vietnam 🇻🇳 The journey continues in 12 days. ❤️ #uktovietnam #chubbytrekka #lukedeakin #trending #viral
