Yeah, I’m in the tech industry, and I can tell you that the AI companies are not going to allow that they are already making it unaffordable for regular layman to be able to afford to use the power of AI to create these tools. The CEO of ChatGPT himself said that the goal is to make it to where you will have to pay a monthly fee. That is at least expensive as your power bill in order to use AI services in the tools and capability will continue to get more expensive and further out of reach from regular middle-class people eventually you’ll have to be rich just in order to use these tools to their full capabilities

I’m gonna be real this is a take I disagree with. no one wants to listen to generated music, and no one wants to play generated games. I know that I as a consumer do not want that even if the games/music were perfectly made.

intellectual property isn't a thing in capitalism. ideas are not scarce, two people can use the same idea without conflict making there's no justification for ownership. the government initiates and authorizes conflict over ideas.

I hate AI but I use it for dming. I'll type out different ideas and have it create systems for my DND Homebrew campaigns. specifically I made one centered around being leaders of different nation states that the players made up and I needed a whole bunch of systems at DND simply doesn't have

They want to use it to Rob us but the second that we start using it to Rob them that's when heavy regulations are going to come down. All of a sudden they're going to see the need for protections and safety parameters lol. you know for the kids you know we got to keep them safe from stealing from companies lol

Software is now replicable/fungible/commoditized. I think hardware is where the money is at now. Although, these AI companies don't own matrix multiplication or public data. They have money and can thus do it best. I don't like paying for all these AI subscriptions and I'd like to see AI solve AI usage
