@10newsau: Protesters across more than 40 US states have rallied against sexual violence, following allegations of a gang rape at Cornell University. The nationwide 'I Am Jane Doe' demonstrations have seen students, survivors and advocates take to the streets, demanding greater accountability and stronger protections on university campuses. The protests follow a lawsuit filed by a Cornell student, accusing seven fraternity members of sexually assaulting her in 2024 and the university of failing to adequately investigate the allegations. The accused men deny wrongdoing and have not been criminally charged, while prosecutors have reopened an investigation and Cornell has launched an independent review into its handling of the case.
