I'm glad you open this conversation. Genuine question Gieko, artist to artist, dapat ba talagang may mapuntahan tayo like a grand destination tayong mga artist? Dapat ba maging kontento na tayo na binuhay tayo ng passion natin first and foremost, dahil at some point ito yung tanging reason for living or dapat ba talaga na mapatunayan natin na kaya tayong buhayin ng passion natin monetarily? I feel like I'm at the same place (well not exactly) as you are and it got me thinking din, if ito lang ba talaga yung tanging way for us to showcase para buhayin yung sining and buhayin rin yung sarili natin through our passion. I know, it is that deep and complex sometimes. Is this what we are truly here for? To prove ourselves palagi? Dapat ba makontento na tayo na may iilan na totoong sumusuporta sa atin or should we be more or strive for more over and over again? There is always that potential naman talaga, pero should we really depend on what we achieved as a measure of our success? O baka need natin to detached from our achievements and show up for that things that truly matter for us with or without the audience and the praise?
