We know that rabbits are typically symbolized as innocence, being vulnerable, and the prey (specifically to wolves in most media). From the title of the episode we get an understanding that the "wolves" are basically everyone who is deeply associated with park planet. Those include Olivia and Orville. Something I haven’t seen anyone mention is the history of rabbits being used in laboratory testing, especially for cosmetics. The Draize test, for example, famously used rabbits to test whether beauty products and their ingredients caused eye or skin damage. Given the show’s themes of manufactured perfection, bodily autonomy, and corporate exploitation, I wonder if the rabbit imagery is meant to evoke the cruelty behind creating something supposedly beautiful. And the distinction between a domesticated rabbit and a wild hare could be especially significant if Gwen is breaking free from that system.

also rabbits/bunnies represent innocence while hares represent rebirth/fall from grace- the switch from rabbit to hare is really Gwen. Her innocence transformed when she fell from grace and is now reborn into what she is now

The first picture in the tamagotchi looks more like a rabbit and also have the diamond symbol, which the others Gwens have on their space buns. But the two other pictures look like a hare which is to reoresent how the Gwen is different from the others. Then we see two wolves attacking the hare which is Olivia and the man (forgot his name) destroying Gwen to "fix" her.
