Once We the People gained the ability to record officers performing their duties, we began seeing what happens when authority is placed under public scrutiny: conduct that raises serious questions about integrity, honor, trust, and accountability. The badge does not place anyone above the Constitution. Power must be accountable to the people it serves. Transparency isn't an attack on law enforcement—it is a First Amendment safeguard against government abuse. The camera isn't the enemy of good policing. It is the citizen's check on power.
