@amyireland_tropic: Not quite the holiday we were hoping for… 🌪️🇮🇹 Standing on our balcony watching emergency response vehicles pass one after another, with the road outside our hotel closed, we knew something serious had happened nearby — and it was much closer than we realised. 🫣 The devastation has been awful — children were in school when the tornado hit and badly damaged the building, roofs were ripped from homes, some homes were completely destroyed, other buildings were badly damaged, and cars were overturned and smashed up. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been safe, and our thoughts are very much with everyone impacted.
