Nah. It was done right, I know she’s was being controlled but that’s the whole point, she isn’t an evil person. She’s a kind soul in the series so it makes sense all the death and destruction was done by Emmaline.

it was the most creative version in my opinion! dying by a falling bucket is not the best way he could have ended.

I enjoyed it, it’s more modern like if it was to actually happen

This reminds me of the books description of the prom. Absolutely knocked it out of the park.

The 2013 version was way better. With this one I was even more upset on how they killed off the gym teacher.

Here’s my issue with it, the actual destruction scene itself is good! It’s the fact that they use Emmaline to be the one controlling her and doing it that ruined it for me (the whole super teens subplot also just wasn’t it)

My question is, how the HELL did Mathew Lillard survive a heavy ass spotlight to the TOP of the head and Tommy from 2013 Carrie die from a bucket (I know it was metal but still) 😭

Irgendetwas muss man ja neu bei dieser Szene machen....wobei mir das mit Cloe also Carrie 2017 oder so besser gefiel.

Agreed. It was the worst prom scene. The past ones had more horror and intention of kills. Not just fire and electricity
