Remember in avatar Wans timeline when he found raava and vaatu naturally entangled. One cannot exist without the other. After Korra eliminated Vaatu, Korra living an extended time. Naturally Vaatu started growing inside her as well. As you mentioned spirit energy and its power, excelled the growth of two spirit powerhouse of Raava and Vaatu. Giving Korra that evil looked portrayed in the early episodes. Wan struggled with raava merging, imagine having cosmic reincarnation entanglement happening in Korra. After Korra, nature correcting itself separating two powerhouse forces as twins. I can’t wait to see the rest of the havens and the challenges based on the chakras and how the two avatars will have to come to a balance/unbalance decision based on their opposing personalities.

It’s just a small detail, but during the play they did in the festival, they said earth, water, air, and fire took down Korra in that order which is the exact reverse of the avatar cycle 🤔🤔 I found it interesting bc I feel like it’s probably another way to foreshadow that they have the story backwards and Korra actually saved them

I wanted to add that maybe people believed that korra was evil also because they may have not agreed to her working with raava or how she most likely put in as much effort saving the spirit world as she did humanity, which could be a reason why the spirit actually helped Pavi and Nisha regain memories when they made contact with it, and the spirits are on the avatars side as Korra needed to make sure they were okay too. It is shown many times in TLOK where Korra gets blamed for things that she had no other choice but to do or situations she played no part in.

I definitely see this happening the people overusing spirit energy and it fighting back parallels climate change and how we treat the Earth in real life. There’s definitely going to be some type of lesson about taking care of the planet

God yes I can totally get behind this. I’ve seen some other theories that I couldn’t really agree with but this one is it! I do wonder if the memory erasure will be the same as lake laogai or would it be something completely different and how

I also meant to mention on slide 6 that because of the way the havens are placed, people who believe water bending is a more scarce bending may be right not because water could potentially be more scared but because the north and south poles appear to be gone or stuck in the storm from what the map shows. If water bending turns out to be the rarest in the show this could be why.

guys guys guys. I figured it out about seven havens. you know how they said the avatar failed them and caused the war? IT WAS ALL PROPAGANDA. The same fucking thing is happening again with our poor goddess KORRA. the governments all got together and harnessed tf outta those vines for energy. we all saw how those vines reacted towards it. they hated being used like that. Korra warned and told them to fucking stop it but ofc in their industrial revolution they destroyed it all and THAT is what caused the catalyst that destroyed the world. Korra actually SAVED them by sacrificing herself for the world and the people so they could live on in THE SEVEN HAVENS.
The History of Scapegoating: Humanity has a terrible track record of blaming the Avatar when things go south because they are the easiest target. Just like how Aang disappeared when the world needed him most, leaving people to blame him for a war he had nothing to start, society would naturally rather point the finger at Korra than admit their own governments and industrial conglomerates doomed the planet through pure greed.
The Spirit Backlash: If corporations and world leaders ignored Korra's warnings and kept harvesting spirit vines to fuel their industrial revolution, a catastrophic breakdown of the spirit boundaries makes complete sense. Korra fought her entire life to bridge the human and spirit worlds, so if humanity abused that connection for power, it would be a heartbreaking betrayal of everything she tried to build.
The "Destroyer" Narrative: It explains why people in the new era view the Avatar as a harbinger of doom rather than a savior. If the cataclysm was triggered by mankind's abuse of spirit energy, the corrupt powers-that-be would heavily spin historical records to frame the Avatar as the cause, deflecting blame away from themselves.
