I haven’t started the new Carrie yet, I’ve been at NYCC a few days and need to catch up. But… I also attempted to watch the Lizzie Borden show and didn’t make it past the first episode. And I’m someone who genuinely, unironically, enjoys most of Ryan Murphy’s work, even at its worst.

I like that with a show they can really expand on the characters and round them out than just having them be mean for the sake of plot bc the book isn't long and only does so much with them in a short time span

I think Stephen King is very used to boy bullying, specifically in the 80s or whenever he was a kid. And bullying has definitely evolved since then, and girls tend to be bullies in a very different way than boys. Boys tend to physically bully people, girls go for psychological warfare
