@kara_marlene: This case has almost every element that makes you stop and ask: How much of this was planned? Lisa Bradford was a 54-year-old Northern Virginia Realtor and mother who was found shot to death inside her home on September 22. Authorities allege her husband, Roger Bradford, killed her and then fled Virginia before being captured in Pennsylvania. But what investigators say they found afterward is what makes this case so disturbing. Court filings allege that before Lisa was killed, Roger went to a storage facility, obtained ammunition, purchased 36-inch zip ties, and returned to the family home. Police later found Lisa with her hands bound behind her back. And then came the journal. Investigators say a journal found in Roger’s rental vehicle contained a list of people he allegedly planned to kill — including Lisa. According to the sheriff’s office, the journal even indicated that Lisa was supposed to be killed on Tuesday. She was killed on Tuesday. Authorities are now investigating whether other people named in that journal may also have been targets. And there’s another layer: months before Lisa’s death, Roger himself reportedly wrote in federal court filings that his marriage was heading toward divorce following his prior wire-fraud conviction and prison sentence. So this is the question I’m following now: Was Lisa Bradford’s death the end of an unraveling marriage — or one part of something investigators say had been mapped out in advance? And if there really were multiple names in that journal… who else was on the list? I’m covering this one. #LisaBradford #RogerBradford #TrueCrime #CourtTok #crimenews
