As a person who moved from Netherlands (studied there and worked for a year) to Australia to do my PhD and stayed in Australia. I can’t even begin to say how much easier my life became in an English speaking country. The amount of discrimination I faced in Netherlands daily for just being Polish just disappeared. I spoke English, so I also became part of the society. 10/10 would recommend

After living in Canada and Poland for years and now being in Amsterdam I disagree with most of the things that were mentioned. There is no perfect place and Netherlands in comparison with other successful rich countries is pretty damn good

As an ecologist I kind of disagree with the nature looking the same. In my opinion the Veluwe compared to de Vliehors or even the Biesbosch are completely unique ecosystems from one another. However, I do agree that those small fractured forests spread throughout NL are all very similar 😅

Live here for 5 years, and I really understand your points, but I’m so lucky to be chill 🤭 from this list I really feel hate only towards “bad” things: like drugs and home crisis and racism. For all other I just don’t care enough (lucky me) 🤣🤣🤣
