I agree that elderly drivers should be tested regularly, but society also needs to stop treating older people as disposable. If they can no longer drive, who’s helping them get to appointments, run errands, or maintain their independence? We need better support systems and more compassion. One day, that will be us needing help.

I’m sorry for their loss. Senior citizens need to take a driving test every year after the age of 70🥺🥺🥺 safety for everyone. This is so tragic. My mother in law reversed into the garage instead of pulling up the gate and decided there and then she would stop driving. Luckily no one was behind her.

Even if they don’t take your license away you should give up your license when it’s time. My great grandma chose not to renew her license after she turned 75 & im so thankful she’s not on the road
