My mother in law wanted to take a trip with me to go to the Biltmore Estate (I know too much about that place to want to ever step foot near it) and specifically wants to go around Christmas time to see the lights (and I don't give a fuck about christmas or lights). I told her I didn't have any vacation days left because HARD PASS.

I look at all of this now..from a different point of view. we know all of the facts... we are living in escalating chaos.. ans a couple of weeks of decorations..Christmas movies..special foods takes us back to a simpler..happier time..briefly... I may do that..just for moments of happier memories..
