My own experience is long. I'm not doing it again. I have 2 girls telling me that they want to relocate to Abuja, abeg I no dey accomodate. Ontop millions of Naira I dey pay for rent. I never bring man come my house before, girl Wey I accommodate started bringing man, when I complained she single shamed me.

someone I once accommodated told me that I'll give him 6 months notice before he leaves my house I payed rent, he smokes alot, I just arrested him with police that same day, I brought his properties to the police station that same day

I squat with person for 10 month and it was the perfect experience for me oh 🥰 I didn’t stress the person that squatted me and after renting, I didn’t even want to leave and I still go back to spend time with her bcos she made living under her roof so peaceful ☺️Some people are good abeg

Share responsibilities to avoid too much expectations and disappointment. Sometimes the owner of the house is the problem.. they always become too controlling and it can cause issues. Just cause they are squatting with you doesn’t mean you should giving them too much attitude or tried to be controlling.

It is the attitude that is super annoying, in my space??? I have vowed no squatting, if you are family I will give you time frame and trust me nobody will talk to me when time reach.

while I relate to this 💯 because I once housed people, but my first experience with someone who accommodated me was hel¥ that lady traumatized me for months. there are bad hosts too, and I think they should be called out as well. I legit walked around egg shells in that house being careful so I don't get on her nerves. she said she cooks her own food, that I wouldn't be able to cook what she could eat. I adhered to that; cook, wash the pot and plates and a day she saw a plate of my stew in the freezer, she twisted the whole narrative to me cooking and washing the dishes so she doesn't know that I have eaten.... . Omo, that lady was a nightmare, and I legit wished I was under a bridge than at her place
