In regard to Iran, if he wants to do the June MoU minus the Strait of Hormuz part, he can frame it as “we had a ceasefire, the Iranians broke their side and attacked ships, we showed overwhelming power and capability in the Strait, now they’ve agreed to correct their behaviour and do the deal properly, not have a nuclear weapon, the Strait is free navigation, no taxpayer dollar to Iran, they’ll break down their 60% enrichment and get IAEA international monitoring back in their country, etc.” I think the narrative would resonate with the republican audience before the elections
