I want to make this clear and across to all Kenyans because I know news are watching. Kenyans listen and listen to me carefully. It is not by deliberate, it is not by accident, that I am not able to walk with the likes of any opposition leaders in this country. I know them, have been with them, have walked with them. But there is one reason I cannot join them. And one reason being, they have earned their chance, their share, to change this country. It is not normal for people in the uniform to come in politics. But when the duty calls we have to come in to rescue this nation. And with a lot of respect to my leaders, the young leaders in this country. The likes of Sifuna, the likes of people who want to come to the leadership of president in this country. Please allow us. It is no time for politics. To play politics. It is time to rescue this nation. When it is resumption time you cannot call a doctor to rescue. You cannot call a lawyer to rescue. You cannot call an accountant to rescue. You cannot call a banker to come and rescue a nation. If really Kenyans want change and want this nation being rescued. Therefore I want to call you that you support people and people like us who have come in uniform who have offered our lives before to die for you when you did not know. I want to say this and I want to applaud my counterpart the president of Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traore. I came in the space of politics in 2024, he was coming up as the president of Burkina Faso. And I asked myself is this the mirror of myself because everything that this young man is doing in Burkina Faso is exactly what we want to do in this country. Collatorization of 27 trillion US dollars worth of minerals and resources. I want to repeat again. Do you understand what is 27 trillion US dollars worth of natural resources and minerals in this country? Is equivalent to 70 million to every Kenyan. And I want to ask Kenyans before somebody comes and tell you one term or two term. Ask them about your 70 million that you are supposed to have as a Kenyan. This is not business as usual. This is not politics as usual. And I've told people I will not play politics. We are going to take political responsibility to fix this nation. I know people came in the street in 2024. I was in the streets in 2024. I want to apologize on behalf of young leaders in this country we never gave direction to where the young people and people should amalgamate and bring the change that they want in this country. It is because time had not come. And I want Kenyans to listen to yourself. Do you really need change? Do you really want change? And for sure if you want that change it is not to vote in emotions. It is no time to elect a leader with emotions. And I want to say this with a lot of respect to His Excellency Gachagua when he was impeached. My question still lingers if he was still in the government would we still be having the same energy? I also want to say with a lot of respect to my brother Edwin Sifuna. If he was not kicked as SG for ODM do we still be having the same energy? And we Kenyans and you Kenyans we are so indecisive that everything that looks has changed. We are coming and following it. Time has come for us not just to vote or to look and to follow a leader emotionally. We must follow leaders because of what they decide and what you decide to yourself. The leadership of Patrick Osoi is not the leadership for presidency and I want to say this and it can go to record. If it will take me two and a half years to fix this nation. I will leave the leadership to them that want to politicize and do the politics in this country. And as my counterpart said the other day they don't want to share their manifesto. My manifesto is very clear, very open, if anyone wants to execute it even before 2027 they are welcome and this goes to Dr. William Ruto
