Share ko lang. For three months na sa college, I realized na wala pa talaga akong masyadong close na classmate or someone na malalapitan ko sa classroom. Napapansin ko rin na most of my classmates already have their own circles of friends, and honestly, there are times when I feel really left out, especially kapag may groupings or activities sa room. There was even a time na umiyak ako habang sinasabi sa mama ko na wala pa rin akong kaibigan. Ang hirap pala kapag pakiramdam mo, mag-isa ka lang at wala kang malapitan or someone na puwede mong hingan ng tulong. Sometimes, I can't help but feel envious of my classmates who have people they can laugh with, sit with, and rely on. But as time goes by, I'm slowly learning to accept that college isn't always about finding a group of friends to belong to. Sometimes, even the people you consider your friends won't always be there for you, and some may even bring you down instead of helping you grow. College taught me that you shouldn't depend too much on the idea that the friends you make today will stay with you throughout your entire journey. People change, priorities change, and sometimes, paths separate. Even the people you thought would stay might eventually go their own way.
