@m.exclusive.us: After 13 years together, Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys still have no plans to walk down the aisle, and the reason may surprise people who believe every long-term relationship needs a wedding. During an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s podcast, Dear Chelsea, Russell explained why she does not feel the need to get married again. “I’ve had a big party, you know,” the 50-year-old actress said, referring to her previous marriage. She added that marriage means different things to different people, but she no longer sees it as necessary for building a life with someone. Russell even pointed out how much society has changed, explaining that people once needed marriage for things like getting a credit card. Today, she said, she does not need to change her last name or have a wedding to prove her commitment. She and Rhys have been together since 2013 and share a 10-year-old son, Sam. Russell also has two children from her previous marriage to Shane Deary, which ended in 2014. The couple usually keeps their private life out of the spotlight. Rhys once joked during his 2018 Emmy acceptance speech that Russell had warned him she would react badly if he proposed during the ceremony. Russell recently explained that Rhys left her out of his 2026 Emmy acceptance speech because public speaking made him nervous. She had even told him not to worry about thanking her. After more than a decade together, their relationship appears to work on their own terms. Does a lasting commitment need a wedding, or is choosing each other every day enough? \#KeriRussell #MatthewRhys #CelebrityNews #HollywoodCouples #RelationshipStories
