not so fun fact: if after birth, one twin is kept in the hospital longer bc they’re not as healthy, it’s likely that the family will become more attached to the healthy twin who was brought immediately home. I’ve heard stories from the NICU/PICU that families may start visiting the sick twin less and less, and one family just completely stopped visiting/picking up phone calls from the hospital
