@wrestlingnewsco: LA Knight says WWE made him offers three years in a row while he was in TNA as Eli Drake, then said no when he was finally ready in 2019. He told TMZ's Inside the Ring: "When I went back and I was like, 'Hey, I'm finally ready to take one of those,' and they were like, 'Oh no, we don't want you now.'" Knight said COVID was the only time he thought his career was over, before he walked into NXT in February 2021. Tonight he challenges Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank in New Orleans: "Going from making $30 on a shift at Cheesecake Factory to World Champion. That ain't too damn bad." #WWE #LAKnight #MITB #MoneyInTheBank #RomanReigns
