@anabelle.vangiller: Welcome to the corner of the internet where the recipe will always be in the caption. 🤎 I’m a firm believer that recipes shouldn’t be hidden behind a million clicks or comments. If I share it, I’ll put the full recipe right here so you can easily save it and come back to it whenever you need it. Recipe below! Dinner Rolls Ingredients • 1 cup warm milk (110°F) • 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet) • 2 tbsp honey (optional, helps yeast activate and adds fluffiness) • 1 large egg • ¼ cup melted butter • 3½–4 cups all-purpose flour • 1 tsp salt Instructions 1. Activate the yeast: Stir warm milk, yeast, and honey in a bowl. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy. Honey can be skipped, but activation may take longer. 2. Make the dough: Add egg and melted butter, whisk to combine. Add salt and 3½ cups flour, mix until a dough forms. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and stretchy, adding more flour if needed. 3. First rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour until doubled. 4. Shape rolls: Punch down dough, roll to ½–¾ inch thickness, cut into squares, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. 5. Second rise: Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes until puffy. 6. Bake: Bake at 350°F for 15–18 minutes until golden. 7. Butter tops: Brush warm rolls with melted butter immediately. • • • • • #homemade #simple #recipes #fromscratch #bread

why whenever i bake breads, they always go hard on the outside? i'm using a small portable oven, do i need to lower the temperature than normal so my bread is soft and squishy?
