love this! my husband does doughnut Saturdays. every Saturday our kiddo is reminded to not wake me up and to see how quiet he can wake my husband. they then sneak out of our room and go get coffee (hot chocolate for kiddo) and doughnuts and then bring coffee and doughnuts back home to me to eat in bed🥰 its been years of this and everyone loves it!

I Get up before everyone else, and lock our bedroom door so the kids cannot wake up mom. A morning to do whatever she wants is well earned as she is a SAHM and homeschools our two kiddos.

I love this. For wives with introverted husbands, mine takes our kids out on hikes on the weekend and they're usually gone for 3-6 hours. They go on a hike have snacks/packed lunch and I have time to relax. Just another idea if your husband isn't huge on hanging with other people 🤍

Thanks! I do “Saturday Sillies” with my daughter. We hang, donuts, watch a show, go to lunch etc — It’s the best.

In our house, my husband sleeps in on Saturday and I sleep in on Sundays! I love this idea, but we are the only ones with kids!

Just want to fist bump you for not marrying a loser! My husband does something similar, he takes all five of our kids at least once or twice a week after school to do something fun (go to a playground, play basketball, whatever). So I can have an afternoon off! Props to quality men!

every other Sunday our local VFW does breakfast. my husband takes all the kids then goes for a drive/shopping/etc just so I can have a quiet morning, drink my coffee hot without having to reheat it and snack instead of setting healthy examples. it's Wonderful 🥰
