if i was syl in this marriage, being together with and building a very successful business with someone like ryan who diverts away from conflict/confrontation bc of his non-confrontational nature, passive and people pleasing behaviours, i would also probably find myself having to tank ALOT of emotional baggage to protect my business and partner, bc i cannot rely on my partner for it. i don’t deny, ryan has probably put in alot of his own hardwork but without sylvia’s natural flair and talent, ryan would not be standing where he is. i dont agree with the way sylvia’s own faults of the way she treated her employees but i do believe she wasn’t given enough grace bc of the sheer amount of stress she was having to face and carry, which may have also found herself acting out of character.

I can relate to Sylvia more than people realise. I've been through something very similar with my ex-husband. I was the one handling the pressure of running the company, worrying about the income, managing the responsibilities and facing all the problems, while he was mostly working behind the scenes. When you're the one carrying so much responsibility, people don't see the stress, sacrifices and emotional exhaustion that come with it. And after everything, he fell for someone else, yet somehow I ended up being blamed for everything. People only see how you react, but they don't see what you've been put through to reach that point. I'm not saying anyone is completely right or wrong in Ryan and Sylvia's story, but I genuinely understand how it feels to give so much of yourself to a business and a marriage, only to end up losing the relationship and being painted as the bad person. Sometimes, the person who looks the strongest is actually the one who has been silently breaking for years.

Know why? He knows how to act poorthing. Like my mum. I told her I was physically abused and when she met my ex hubs and he cried and act poorthing, she cried with him 😐. Even my own mother, hate me for being strong and making that decision to leave an abusive man.

i always thought of her as a successful boss though she used harsh words against her ex staffs but i believe she was holding in alot of things including personal life conflicts. definitely what she was caught doing wasnt right but i do agree Ryan on the other hand is just sitting there and being painted as a an "angel" when everyth got exposed
