@printedbydaniel: How to make your own thermo-formed ornament ⬇️ 1️⃣ Print a flat mesh net and a two-part press 2️⃣ Pin the net into the press and heat it until it goes soft 3️⃣ Press it into shape and hold it while it cools 4️⃣ Make a second half the same way, close the two, screw on the cap and hang it up Keep this in mind: • PETG works best. It stays soft longer than PLA and doesn't go brittle if you heat it a bit too much • Keep the heat gun moving, about 15 to 20 cm away. A hair dryer on its hottest setting works too, just slower • Hold the press shut for a minute while it cools, or the mesh springs back a little • The net prints flat with no supports, so each half is done in minutes • The press is printed once and makes as many ornaments as you want
