I got straight A’s In my accelerated BSN program and the best pharmacology grades. I attribute it to listening to techno/dub while I studied. It literally pulsated info into my brain. Haha

Huge fan of the XX. With that said though, I don’t think you’re giving yourself enough credit. I think you’re just really smart with a touch of OCD. I say that as someone who has an entire test day ritual, down to the songs that have to play before I can get out of my car. I fully contribute my 4.0 GPA to that instead of the insane amount of time and effort I put into studying.

I took a public speaking class at Uni my freshman year with all seniors and had to give a speech every single week. I killed it every time I would listen to Enya while meditating for 2 hours before each speech😁

I couldn’t listen to anything with a beat…I had to put on light classical in the background. There’s actual studies on this too. Helped me in regular nursing school and when I was in grad school for my NP! So, if you’re like me and get too distracted by the beats, try light classical. 😊
