@olat.farm: Don’t choose cucumber seeds by name alone! 🥒 Jorad F1 and Darina F1 from Seminis are growing here at Olatfarms, and this is Part 1 of our variety comparison. I show you the Jorad fruiting pattern, a close-up of the fruit size and quality, then the Darina from Seminis vines and their developing fruits. Both sections have green leaves at the time of this field walk. Fruit size is only one part of the discussion. In the video, I also explain why maturity time, disease resistance, and good farm practices matter when comparing varieties. Our wider planting also includes Darina F1 from Jubaili, Volta F1 from Sakata, and a parthenocarpic trial variety. More of the comparison is coming. Learn the differences. Watch your plants. Keep records. Have you planted Jorad or Darina before? Tell us your experience and follow Olatfarms for Part 2. #Olatfarms #CucumberFarming #Joradf1 #DarinaF1 #Farmeducation
