These gel pens are great for color by numbers and for detailing and journaling too. I am obsessed with these pens.

Something I notice in almost every client with CPTSD that they rarely see in themselves. These aren’t personality traits you were born with. They’re things you built because your environment required them. That doesn’t make them less yours. You learned to read a room before most people learned to read. You tracked moods, energy shifts, and subtle changes in tone because staying attuned kept you safer. That skill didn’t disappear when the danger did. You’re still doing it, and it’s one of the reasons people feel so understood around you. You have a kind of resilience that doesn’t show up on motivational posters. The kind where you kept functioning, kept trying, kept showing up even when everything in you was exhausted. That’s not nothing. That’s enormous. Your empathy is specific in a way that other people’s isn’t. You know what it feels like to be in a room and still feel invisible. So you make sure the people around you don’t feel that way. That’s a choice you make, often unconsciously, and it matters. You’re hyperaware in ways that exhaust you and also protect the people you love. You notice what everyone else misses. You root for the underdog every single time. Because you remember what it felt like to be one. And you show up to do the work. Pen and pad ready. That’s not a small thing. That’s someone who has been fighting for themselves even when it was hard to believe it was worth it. If you’re in New York, Connecticut, or Florida and you’re ready for the next part of that work, I’d love to be in your corner.
