I'm going to say something some real estate agents are probably going to disagree with: I am not a fan of virtual staging. Here's why. Imagine you're a buyer scrolling online and you see this beautifully staged living room. The furniture is perfect. The artwork is perfect. Everything looks warm and inviting. You schedule a showing, walk through the front door — and the room is completely empty. You just created disappointment. That buyer's first experience inside the home is realizing it doesn't look like the pictures that made them want to see it. I would much rather stage the actual space with real furniture when it's possible. And staging isn't about filling your house with furniture — it's about helping buyers understand the space. I want them to know where the couch goes. I want them to understand how big the dining room really is. I want them to walk in and think,
