Thank you for sharing about Francheska Velez.💔💔💔💔 So many people lost their lives that day and their families have been suffering for years waiting for some kind of final justice. I am very conflicted especially that some are looking at the execution as a form of entertainment. In my opinion, death in this way isnt something to be celebrated, it will be justified.....but it will not change what has been taken.... I find myself crying more than ever now adays.... There is just an overwhelming sense of doom in the air....We are not like the person who did this crime. Thats the difference between us and the person who did this, if the family wants to be there for closure, that is their right to be there. But for it to be aired like the Super Bowl is bringing us into the Hunger Games.

It is not entertainment. It us growing up and acknowledging the somber moment of watching and remembering. I don't plan to watch it, but we are at war. When you realize this then you may see why.

We all don't need to watch. Family of victims are invited to executions. There just isn't enough room for every single activity duty member and veteran to sit inside the viewing room. This wasn't just an attack against her. This was an attack from within. This was an attack against our country. This was an attack against our military. This was an attack against our morale. This was a sentence that cannot and will not be carried out behind closed doors hidden away from the public to protect their sensibilities. We hear a 30 second news blurb regarding executions if they make the news at all. This isn't entertainment. This is very personal for every single service member. She was our sister.
