I think it’s like in middle school when people would pretend to freak out over shit that isn’t even that big of a deal like if you said to them “you’re manually breathing now” or “every second you’re just closer to death” they’d pretend to care and they’d be like “nooo why’d you tell me that now I’ll neeever stop thinking about it” because they think that people around them think it’s funny or they think that people study their every move so they perform for someone who isn’t watching
