We’ve lived in Vietnam since 2023, and while it’s a total lifesaver in certain situations, it’s also completely unnecessary for others. 🛑 WHAT IT IS: A dedicated greeter meets you right before passport control holding a sign, walks you through the priority immigration lane, and gets you through immigration in about 5–10 minutes instead of the massive general line. ✅ WHEN IT’S 100% WORTH IT: 1️⃣ Peak landing times: If you’re landing at Tan Son Nhat (SGN) from 6AM to midnight 2️⃣ Tight connections: If you have a connecting domestic flight, a scheduled train, or a Ha Long Bay transfer waiting outside that won't wait for you 3️⃣ Traveling with family: If you're flying with babies, toddlers, or elderly family members who can’t stand in long, warm queues after an exhausting flight 4️⃣ Peak holiday travel: Arriving around Tết (Lunar New Year) or the busy dry season ❌ WHEN YOU CAN SAFELY SKIP IT: 1️⃣ Off-peak flights: midnight to 5AM 2️⃣ Budget Travelers: If saving $25-$35 per person matters more to you than saving a potential 2-3 hrs, you can easily manage the standard line 3️⃣You're arriving at Da Nang or Cam Rang airports (they're not busy) ⚠️ IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW: • Fast Track does NOT replace your mandatory Vietnam e-Visa or pre-arrival registration, you still need those • Always book at least 24 hours ahead through a reputable service (the one we use is below) Want our full honest guide comparing wait times by airport and the booking service we use?
