I’ve been saying it for a while, but the left is just so morally backwards it’s crazy. They cheer for killing innocents and condemn killing criminals. Like it’s literally straight from the Bible, they call good evil and evil good.

While I understand your point and agree with most of it on the question of individual morality, there is an important difference when you are dealing with a governmental act. When the government does something, they do it under authority of “the people” in general, not any individual. As a result, those acts should be scrutinized more. And personally, I don’t want those acts of government live-streamed. And not because I disagree with the morality of this execution, but because we should not let governmental acts venture into the realm of revenge or retribution, but rather as a necessity of law.

im confused about the public execution also. im not sure if its a good thing and can set a scary precedent. however!!! public executions have been used to deeply shame terrible aweful actions in the past. and actions that terrible should have terrible consequences.

If we're gonna talk about teaching accurate history, I was always taught that the crusades were the evil Christian attacking the innocent Muslims which just isnt what happened. My government teacher was a very openly bias liberal woman who just talked down on conservative ideologies.
