I agree. She doesn’t want to be like Korra she wants to be like Kyoshi. I also don’t think her personalities are the same as Kyoshi. There names literally mean light and dark. One behaves chaotic and the other is passive. Rava appears to be in one and Vatu in the other.

This is getting annoying. They’re acting like the twins are gonna be exactly like aang and korra by just watching 3 episodes. The twins won’t be carbon copies of aang and korra, they may want to be like some avatars, like his pavi wants to be like kyoshi but it doesn’t mean they’re gonna have the same personality and stuff like that. Main thing is stop comparing them to korra and aang and wstch where the show takes the twins characters

I mean you can’t say that there aren’t some similarities, both were found out to be the avatar at a young age , both were practically isolated form the rest of the world and were trained by the white lotus . And nisha wanting to be like Kyoshi doesn’t mean she’s kyoshi coded we were told that most of the knowledge about the past is gone so there’s no telling just what exactly the image of kyoshi that Nisha has in her mind is acuallly in line with what kyoshi stands for and was like she could have just said that becuse kyoshi looks the coolest we don’t even know the motives behind her preference to kyoshi . If anything Pavi has more similarities to kyoshi than Nisha has both in the way they lived before they were discovered as the avatar and their initial denied that the role is even theirs .

Thank God I'm not the only one who is fed up with the comparisons Korra was given the opportunity to come up with a plan to deal with Amon but chose to follow Tarlok and recklessly taunt Amon, trying to pick a fight because she cared less about the people's safety and more about not ducking a fade while Nisha literally went out there to help people because she knew she could and even felt in her heart that she had to because it was the right thing to do. how is that Korra coded? And then there's Pavi who literally ran away frok helping people when she knew she was strong enough to do so and used her excuse of not wanting to fight to justify it meanwhile Aang would have never donw that. Aang's plan was to run away for a while and return because he didn't know about the threat of the Fire Nation in the first place Pavi and Nisha have their own separate characters and dumbing them down to copies of one's favourite characters takes away from their originality. let's watch them for them and not for nostalgia

Nisha was found at a young age by the White Lotus and was trained in secret, hiding and protecting her from the world because they think she isn't ready yet, and as a result, Nisha became head-strong, she's very confident, she believes in herself more than most people. But because of being sheltered from the world and not allowed to use her bending in public, she feels like she isn't doing anything meaningful because she believes that the Avatar should do something better, something that's right, ehich is helping people that need her, and she wants to prove that to anyone who thinks she can't. That is literally Korra. Nisha wants to be like Kyoshi, but wanting something doesn't say anything about your personality that you're like that something. she just wants to be like Kyoshi, but the circumstances of her life made her like Korra. And that's not inherently bad. Nisha can still be like Korra without inheriting some of Korra's worst flaws. Nisha saying she wants to be like Kyoshi is cool, but not proof she is going to be like Kyoshi. (more like Kyoshi is her favourite Avatar) there's a difference between WANTING to be something and actually BEING something naturally
